MC starts process of issuing property certificates to owners in Y’nagar, Jagadhri
The Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ), has begun the process of issuing property certificates to property holders, who have been occupying properties located in ‘lal dora’ and ‘abadi deh’ areas of the MCYJ for 10 years.
On Wednesday, the officials of the MCYJ took documents from property holders of Mamidi and Kheri Rangdan villages for issuing them property certificates.
Property certificates are being prepared for the property holders, whose documents are complete.
After Mamidi and Kheri Rangdan, the documents will be taken from property holders of Bhatauli village on December 23.
As per available information, the MCYJ has formed a committee of former councillors and Municipal Corporation officials in every ward.
A former councillor of that ward has been made the chairman of each committee. While the Assistant Engineer of the MCYJ is the member secretary of the committee. Patwari, Building Inspector and other employees have been made members of the committee.
These committees are holding programmes in their respective wards to take documents related to the property holders and occupants of the properties located in ‘lal dora’ and ‘abadi deh’, so that they can be given property certificates and ownership rights.
According to information, a team headed by former councillor of Ward 13 and committee chairman Nirmal Chauhan and members of the committee, Engineer of the MCYJ Deepak Sukhija, Building Inspector Rampal Mann and others checked the documents of property holders in Mamidi village so that property certificates could be issued to them.
In the programme, 15 persons got their certificates prepared by submitting their documents.
Some people could not submit their complete documents so they were asked to do so to get the property certificates made.
Similarly, at Kheri Rangdan village falling under Ward 18 of the MCYJ, the team of former councillor of the ward and committee chairman Usha and member secretary of the committee and corporation engineer Kuldeep Yadav checked the documents of the property holders.
In the village, eight persons got their certificates prepared by submitting their documents.
“The state government has decided to give ownership rights of the property to the property holders, living in ‘lal dora’ and ‘abadi deh’ for 10 years. For this, they will be given property certificates, so that they can become the owner of their property,” said Municipal Commissioner Ayush Sinha.
