Manu Bhaker shares excitement as she votes for 1st time in Haryana elections
Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker reached a polling station in Haryana’s Jhajjar early on Saturday morning to cast her vote.
Paris Olympic double-medallist appealed to the people, especially the younger ones, to come out and cast their votes. The 22-year-old athlete cast her vote for the first-ever time, her father Ram Kishan Bhaker said.
On casting her first vote, Manu says, "Being the youth of this country, it is our responsibility to cast our vote for the most favourable candidate. Small steps lead to big goals... I voted for the first time...".
She shared her enticement and said how she would accompany her parents to polling stations as a child and aspired to cast her vote, too.
