Man mowed down by truck

Was in an inebriated condition

Naveen (38), a resident of Charkhi Dadri district, was mowed down by a pick-up truck in Rohtak.

The victim, who worked as a driver, had reportedly consumed liquor with his friends. After a while, they had an altercation.

Following this, one of his friends allegedly crushed Naveen to death under a pick-up truck and fled the spot.

The police have sent the body for post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered in the matter.
