Man booked for ‘misbehaving’ with officials
A man allegedly misbehaved with the District Informatics Officer of the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Yamunanagar, and an Accountant of District Information Technology Society (DITS), Yamunanagar.
The suspect has been identified as Arun of Lakshmi Nagar of the Camp area, Yamunanagar.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Capt Manoj Kumar, District Informatics Officer (DIO) Vinay Gulati got an FIR registered against Arun.
The complainant Vinay Gulati told the police that Arun came to the office of the Accountant of DITS, Yamunanagar, at about 10.30 pm on November 13, 2024.
He said that he submitted an affidavit in the office of the Accountant on November 8.
He further said he asked the Accountant to return his affidavit, but the Accountant did not return the affidavit saying that it was now an official document and it could not be returned. The complainant said after sometime the Accountant and Arun came to his office.
“A file was kept on my table and the affidavit was kept inside that file. Arun took out the affidavit from the file on the pretext of seeing it and tore it,” DIO Vinay Gulati alleged in his police complaint.
He further alleged that Arun misbehaved with him and the Accountant of the DITS.
As per available information, the affidavit submitted by Arun with the DITS office, was reportedly related to a job.
