A team of Special Staff of Yamunanagar district police has arrested a man and recovered a country-made pistol (desi katta) from his possession.

Rajesh Rana, in-charge of the Special Staff said the accused had been identified as Prince alias Anshul of Gulab Nagar colony in Yamunanagar.

He said they got information that a man was roaming in Sector 18 of Jagadhri with an illegal country-made pistol. He said a team was formed immediately, which arrested the accused.

He said the accused was produced before a court in Jagadhri on Wednesday, where he was sent to judicial custody.
