Kharga Corps organises Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan

The 191st Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan, organised by Kharga Corps to display the Army’s commitment towards its veterans, veer naris, widows, their families and Defence civilians, started in Ambala Cantonment here today.
More than 500 persons, including ex-servicemen with families, veer naris, widows of soldiers and Defence civilians from Ambala, Yamunanagar and Kapurthala districts will attend the two-day programme.
Major General Shreya Nitin Mehta, Chief of Staff, Kharga Corps, on behalf of Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding, Kharga Corps, attended the event today.
As per the Defence PRO, the event lived up to its motto of “Sampark Se Samadhan” by reaching out to maximum veterans and their families and resolving issues related to family pensions, system for pension administration (Raksha), SPARSH and pay fixation. To enable on-the-spot resolution of issues, a number of stalls have been established at the site. Medical check-up and referral for all attendees is also being facilitated through a fully equipped medical camp at the site.
The General Officer felicitated the ex-servicemen and highlighted the Army’s solidarity with its retired fraternity and assured the gathering that the government and the Army were sensitive to their needs and would take every step to ensure that the ex-servicemen, veer naris and their families are cared for and looked after well.
