Kejriwal slams Ranjit’s track record, vows positive change
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal today held a roadshow in Rania in support of party candidate Happy Rania. He criticised former MLA and Cabinet Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala, accusing him of failing to deliver on development promises during his tenure. He urged the people not to vote for Chautala, claiming he only made promises without action.
Addressing the gathering, Kejriwal said despite being a minister, Chautala failed to fulfil the demand for a sub-division in Rania, forcing the residents to travel 30-40 km for their needs. Kejriwal assured that if given a chance, he would deliver on this promise, calling it a “Kejriwal guarantee.” He praised the AAP’s success in Delhi, noting that the party won 67 out of 70 seats, and urged Rania voters to support Happy Rania to bring change.
Kejriwal also emphasised that he wasn’t campaigning for power but to serve the people. He promised to bring free electricity, better schools, hospitals, and mohalla clinics to Haryana, just as the AAP did in Delhi and Punjab. He said any future government in Haryana would need AAP’s support, and he would ensure that key projects such as mohalla clinics are implemented.
He also spoke about his own imprisonment, claiming it was a result of his honest governance in Delhi, where AAP provides free electricity to residents. He questioned whether free electricity providers were thieves or those charging high prices were the real culprits. Highlighting his work in Delhi, he pointed out improvement in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, vowing to bring the same changes to Haryana if given the opportunity.
