Kaithal: Science declamation contest

Kaithal: The Department of Electronics at RKSD College, Kaithal, organised a science declamation contest on Wednesday. The topics covered in the contest were Semiconductor Fabrication in India, Role of Electronics in Space Exploration, Artificial Intelligence, Sensor Technology, Nanotechnology, Wireless and Bluetooth, Blue-Eye Technology and Internet of Things (IoT). Principal Sanjay Goyal and Head of the Electronics Department Rajesh Deshwal motivated the students. Himani and Preeti bagged the first position, Jannat and Tushar stood second and Nisha and Ishu third.

Freshers’ party at y’nagar College

Yamunanagar: The Department of Biotechnology at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamunanagar, organised a freshers’ party to welcome the new students of MSc Biotechnology course. The faculty members and students of the department also welcomed Principal Harinder Singh Kang. He congratulated the new students. Faculty members Dr Nidhi Mahendru, Avantika Rana and Yasmin appreciated the efforts put in by the final-year students in organising the event. The MSc final-year students organising a variety of games and activities. Gresham was awarded the title of ‘Strong Mindset’, Nancy was crowned ‘Miss Innocent’, and Shagun earned the title of ‘Miss Poetess’. Deepak won the title of Mr Biotech Fresher, while Pragya was crowned Miss Biotech Fresher.
