The Punjab and Haryana High Court has placed under suspension the services of Additional District and Sessions Judge Raj Kumar Jain, who served as the Presiding Officer of the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Rohtak. The suspension, effective immediately, follows a series of news reports published in the newspaper against him on February 6, 16, and 22, 2019. During the suspension period, Judge Jain’s headquarters will be at Rohtak, and he is prohibited from leaving without prior permission from the District and Sessions Judge, Rohtak.
The order was issued by the Registrar-General on behalf of the Chief Justice and Judges of the High Court.
