INLD to raise issues of farmers, unemployment, civic amenities
In the upcoming Haryana Assembly session starting on November 13, INLD leaders Aditya Devilal, MLA from Dabwali, and Arjun Singh Chautala, MLA from Rania, have decided to raise issues related to farmers, basic amenities and unemployment, among others.
Aditya Devilal, leader of the INLD legislative party, has submitted six key motions to the Assembly under the rules of procedure. These motions cover several critical issues, including shortage of DAP and urea fertilisers; penalties and cases registered against farmers for burning paddy stubble; lack of basic amenities in colonies built for the poor; non-procurement of paddy at support price; problems caused by the family identity card system; and supply of potable water in the state.
Arjun Chautala has also raised two important issues in his motions: the growing drug problem in the state and the increasing unemployment and delays in government job recruitment. However, it is yet to be seen how many of the eight motions will be approved for discussion during the session.
In a statement to the media, Aditya Devilal said this would be his first session, and he would follow rules while ensuring that the concerns of the public are addressed. He said the six motions he submitted were related to problems faced by people. He also pledged to continue fighting for public causes, both in the Assembly and on the streets.
Arjun Chautala also said it would be his first session, and he, along with his uncle Aditya Devilal, would raise important issues.
