In Fatehabad, Nayab Singh Saini promises jobs to youth, Dura Ram files papers
BJP candidate Dura Ram filed his nomination for the Fatehabad Assembly seat today in the presence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and other senior party leaders. A large number of Dura Ram’s supporters and party workers were present during the inauguration of his campaign office near Bhuna Mod.
The Chief Minister, while addressing the gathering, said that the Congress had blocked employment opportunities for the youth. He accused the Congress of being a “recruitment-blocking gang” that interfered with the government’s recruitment plans. Saini said, “We were ready to provide 25,000 jobs but the Congress disrupted the process by filing complaints with the Election Commission. However, I promise that after the election results were declared on October 8, I will ensure these youth get jobs before I take oath as Chief Minister.”
Saini accused Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda of dodging important questions regarding corruption and job recruitment during his tenure as Chief Minister. He promised continued development in the state. He claimed that the BJP had always stood by the youth.
Dura Ram described his relationship with Fatehabad as familial and not political.
He highlighted development projects that had transformed both urban and rural areas in the past five years. Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala and former MP Kuldeep Bishnoi also addressed the gathering, emphasising Dura Ram’s commitment to 24/7 public service and development in the region. Barala called for collective efforts to secure another Chief Minister’s term for Saini.
