A Pakistani balloon resembling an aircraft was found in a paddy field in Maujgarh village, Dabwali block, on Monday morning, causing alarm among locals. The balloon, inscribed with “PIA” (Pakistan International Airlines), was found by a farmer, Buta Singh, while working in his field. On spotting the white balloon, he immediately informed other villagers, who in turn alerted the police. Soon after, a large crowd gathered in the field. The police arrived and began a thorough investigation, with forensic teams joining them to examine the balloon from all angles. This is not the first time that such an incident has occurred in the area. A similar balloon was found in the fields of Lohgarh village earlier, which also had “PIA” written on it. After investigation, the balloon was found to be harmless and empty. Police officials are continuing their investigation into the latest balloon sighting, and residents are being reassured that no immediate threat was there.
