In Brief: One killed in road mishap

Kurukshetra: A man was killed while four persons were injured after the car they were travelling in rammed into a tree near Bhor Saidan village, Pehowa, on Kurukshetra Road on Monday. The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar, while the injured were Usha, Reema, Manoj and Anil of Kurukshetra. The body was shifted to LNJP Hospital for postmortem examination while the injured were undergoing treatment at a private hospital. The victims reportedly belong to one family. The SHO, Pehowa police station, said, “We received information from an emergency response vehicle (ERV) regarding the incident near Bhor Saidan village. In the accident, the car driver died while four, including two women, suffered injuries. An eyewitness informed me that the car hit a speed breaker, the driver lost his balance over the wheels and rammed into a tree. The injured are undergoing treatment”.
