Bhupinder Hooda calls BJP govt corrupt & liar, says Congress will form government
Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today called the BJP government ‘corrupt and a liar’ and said the time had come to oust the arrogant government.
Former CM Hooda was accompanied by Congress candidates Ashok Arora in Thanesar, Mewa Singh in Ladwa and Ramkaran Kala in Shahabad for filing of their nominations and addressed gatherings in support of the candidates. He called on the people to support these candidates and their local issues would be resolved after forming the government.
Addressing a gathering in Ladwa, former CM Hooda said, “ The BJP government failed to bring in any new project so the development has come to a standstill in the state over the past 10 years. The law and order situation has deteriorated and inflation and corruption are rising in the state. The BJP is seeking votes without any development.”
Attacking the BJP government and CM Nayab Saini, Hooda said, “The incumbent is a corrupt and liar government and the leader of the liar government is contesting the election from Ladwa. It failed to fulfill its promises. The BJP government had promised to double the income of farmers by 2022, but instead of doubling the income, the cost of production has gone up. The prices of fertiliser, diesel and pesticide have gone up. The government failed to give adequate prices to sugarcane farmers and they are finding it hard to survive.”
“The time has come to get rid of this government. There is a strong wave in favour of the Congress in Haryana. We are going to form the next government and oust the BJP from the state,” the former CM added. Thanesar Congress candidate Ashok Arora said, “There is an arrogant government in the state. In democracy, the government is formed by the public and it should work for the public. But the arrogant government insulted all sections of society, and now, the people of Haryana will teach a lesson to the BJP for its atrocities, lies and misrule.”
During Arora’s roadshow, Former BJP district Chief Chanderbhan Gupta joined the Congress to support Thanesar candidate Ashok Arora. He said, “I have worked for 35 years in the BJP but over the past 10 years, I was feeling suffocated. There is no respect left for old party workers in the BJP and it has adopted the policy of use and throw.”
Shahabad Municipal Committee Chairperson Dr Gulshan Kwatra, who had joined the BJP with his supporters earlier this year, joined the Congress to extend support to Congress Shahabad candidate Ramkaran Kala in the presence of Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
Kwatra said, “I have joined the Congress with 11 MCs and extended support to Congress candidate Ramkaran Kala. I am sure the Congress will form the next government .”
