Haryana polls: Key leaders file nominations in Yamunanagar; hold roadshows and rallies

Several prominent leaders in Yamunanagar district filed their nominations on Wednesday and held roadshows and rallies as a show of strength ahead of the October 5 Assembly election.

Haryana Agriculture Minister and BJP leader Kanwar Pal Gujjar filed his nomination for the Jagadhri Assembly seat. Before filing his nomination, he also held a roadshow and a public rally in the constituency.

Sitting Yamunanagar BJP MLA Ghanshyam Dass Arora, Sadhaura Congress MLA Renu Bala and Congress MLA from Radaur Assembly Bishan Lal Saini also filed their nominations.

Meanwhile, Brijpal Chhappar, who recently left Congress after being denied a ticket, filed his nomination for Sadhaura Assembly seat as a BSP candidate.

Before filing his nomination, he held a huge roadshow, which passed through several parts of the Sadhaura Assembly segment.

Former Radaur MLA and BJP leader Shyam Singh Rana also filed his nomination on Wednesday. Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal was also present on the occasion.
