Haryana MLAs to take oath on October 25, Kadian appointed acting Speaker

The Haryana MLAs will take oath on October 25. Meanwhile, senior Congress MLA and former Speaker Raghuvir Kadian, has been appointed as Acting Speaker.
Governor Bandaru Dattatreya will administer oath to Kadian at Raj Bhavan, a government communication to Haryana Vidhan Sabha said.
Later, the 90 MLAs will take oath before Kadian at the Haryana Vidhan Sabha complex here on October 25.
The election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Vidhan Sabha is also likely to be held after the swearing-in of the legislature.

In the October 5 Assembly polls, the BJP won an absolute majority with 48 seats followed by 37 by the Congress, three by Independents and two by INLD. All three Independent MLAs have extended support to the BJP.
