Another Haryana MLA has received an alleged threat from gangsters. Five men barged into the Pataudi house of Badli’s Congress MLA Kuldeep Vats on Friday when he was not present there. They roughed up his cook and threatened to set the “MLA right like Moosewala”.
Following the complaint of the cook of MLA, an FIR has been registered against five unknown persons under Sections 148 (riots), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (hurt), 452 (house trespassing), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC and Section 25-54-59 of Arms Act.
According to a complaint filed by MLA’s cook Rajiv Kumar around 2 pm five men barged into the house when he was alone.
“All five were armed. They manhandled me and asked about the MLA. I told them he was not here. They said that I should warn MLA that he should not make any comments about gangsters or he will face the fate of Moosewala,” Rajiv said in his complaint.
The accused allegedly also pulled out a gun to threaten him.
After registering the FIR the police teams are conducting raids. The Gurugram police issued an official statement in late evening and only said that an FIR has been registered and a probe is on.
Despite several attempts Badli’s MLA Kuldeep Vats did not respond to numerous calls.
It may be noted that in the case of extortion call to Sohna MLA Sanjay Singh, the Gurugram police have not even identified the accused yet after two weeks. Another hand Haryana’s Safidon MLA Subhash Gangoli on Friday lodged a complaint with Haryana police citing threat to his life. Earlier, Congress MLA from Sonepat Surender Panwar had also received a threat call from Dubai.
