Top leaders of the Congress and BJP- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would arrive here on Wednesday to attend nomination filing of their party’s candidates.

The Congress has announced its nominee on all four seats of the district while the BJP has fielded its nominee in three constituencies and kept the declaration of its candidate for Rohtak assembly constituency on hold.

The Congress has reposed its faith in all three sitting MLAs- Bhupinder Singh Hooda (Garhi Sampla Kiloi), Bharat Bhushan Batra (Rohtak) and Shakuntla Khatak (Kalanaur) while it has pitted Balram Dangi, son of former minister and senior Congress leader Anand Singh Dangi, from Meham. It will be Balram’s debut assembly election.
