Gurugram-Delhi Metro to get delayed today
Commuters travelling on Metro train on the Yellow Line across Gurugram city and parts of Delhi will have to face delays due to planned maintenance work at the Vishwavidyalaya Metro station in the morning hours on Friday.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced, “As part of the planned maintenance activities at the Vishwavidyalaya Metro station on the Yellow Line between Samaypur Badli and Millennium City Centre, Gurugram, the train services on the Yellow Line will be briefly regulated in the early morning hours on October 11 till 6.25 am.”
On Friday, the first train service from Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre, Gurugram, will start at 6.29 am, instead of 6 am. The Metro train from Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli will begin at 6.40 am, instead of 6 am.
Meanwhile, there will be no train services available between the small section between the Vishwavidyalaya to Kashmere Gate Metro stations and vice-versa. Besides the Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will remain closed till resumption of train services around 6.25 am.
Normal train services will continue to be available on the remaining sections of Yellow Line from Millennium City Centre, Gurugram, to Kashmere Gate and Samaypur Badli to Vishwavidyalaya stations.
To avoid any inconvenience to passengers, the announcements will also be made at the stations and inside the trains on Yellow Line about the destination of trains and respective platforms for change over during the maintenance period, the DMRC has stated.
