Fraudsters offering money for ‘impregnating’ women arrested

The Nuh police have arrested two cyber fraudsters for duping people. The arrested cyber thugs used to prey on people by offering money for impregnating women by posting fake advertisements on social media.
An FIR was registered at the Nuh cyber police station. The police produced them in a city court today, which sent them to judicial custody.
The arrested accused, after luring people, got the money transferred for file and registration charges in their fake accounts.
Two mobile phones and four SIM cards were recovered from their possession and suspicious chats were found in the phones.
According to the police, the accused were identified as Ajaz (29) of Buraka village in Palwal and Irshad (28) of Kutkupur Shahchokha village in Nuh. Of the four recovered SIM cards, two were issued on addresses in Maharashtra and Assam.
“The accused deceived people by posting fake advertisements on social media sites for allegedly impregnating women. They used fake photos and WhatsApp accounts. They collected fee through PhonePe, Google Pay and Paytm. We arrested both the accused from near Shahchokha canal on Friday,” said Inspector Vimal Rai, SHO of cyber police station, Nuh.
More than four fake Facebook accounts and fake advertisements have been found offering money for making women pregnant.
“This is the first case of such cyber fraud in Nuh. The accused have so far deceived several people. A case has been registered against both the accused under relevant sections. They were produced in a city court and taken to judicial custody,” added the Inspector.
