Three men riding on a motorcycle robbed an employee belonging to Radiant Cash Management Company of Rs 3,39,948 in Sirsa on Wednesday. The incident took place in the broad daylight despite increased police vigilance during the festive season.

The employee, identified as Jaiveer Yadav from the Old Housing Board Colony, reported the incident to the Sirsa City police. According to Yadav, he is employed by the company, which collects cash from various companies such as Bata, Meesho and Amazon and deposits the amount in a bank. On October 29, Yadav collected cash from Bata and multiple Meesho and Amazon stores, amounting to over Rs 3 lakh and was on his way to deposit it at the PNB branch in Rori Bazaar.

When he reached near Rangri Road around 12.30 pm, three youths armed with wooden sticks and a hockey stick stopped him. They assaulted him, forcibly took his cash-filled bag and fled towards the city.
