Fighting both Oppn, party rivals at same time, says Rao Narbir
Creating ripples on the last day of the campaigning, former minister and BJP candidate for Badshahpur Rao Narbir Singh said he was trapped in a “chakravyuh” created by both the Opposition and his party rivals.
“I am a modern day Abhimanyu, who is not just fighting the Opposition, but also my party rivals, who are out betraying the BJP by urging people to vote against me. This doesn’t deter me from fighting the elections as I have served this area for generations and people stand with me. I will break all traps and emerge victorious and make Badshahpur the strongest in south Haryana,” said Narbir.
The former minister held a roadshow in the Assembly segment on Thursday. Narbir urged the people of his constituency to vote in favour of the BJP to ensure that the Millennium City was in line with the developmental pace of the Centre.
Calling his experience and assurance of the Cabinet berth as a unique selling point, Narbir said, “If you need development, you need a strong impactful leadership. You need somebody, who stands up against the popular opinion and has a zeal to fight. The BJP has transformed Gurugram in 10 years and to be part of the national development, you all need the saffron party.”
Narbir assured people that if the BJP was voted to power, he would ensure that all problems being faced by them would be resolved within five months after the elections.
“You have seen me when I was a PWD minister. You will get to see the same Narbir. I guarantee you that if you elect me as the MLA, I will change the face of Badshahpur within five months of my swearing in,” he added.
