Fatehabad: Chargesheet JE for delay in restoring power, XEN told

Haryana Power Minister Ranjit Singh has directed the authorities to chargesheet a junior engineer (JE) of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam posted in Ratia region of Fatehabad district for negligence in restoring electricity supply after a thunderstorm.
The minister, who presided over a meeting of the Public Relations and Grievances Committee in Fatehabad town, took action on the basis of a complaint by a resident of Harmesh Devraj, a resident of Ratia who alleged that the official concerned did not heed to the complaints of the local residents after strong winds and storm uprooted some power lines on April 23.
The minister directed the executive engineer (XEN) of the DHBVN to issue a charge sheet to JE Manoj Kumar.
Taking cognisance of a complaint filed by Keshu Singh of Dhingsara that he had applied for a loan for setting up a sheep farm, but the bank employees did not take action and made him run from pillar to post, the minister directed the Sarva Haryana Gramin Bank to chargesheet the branch manager of the branch concerned and summoned the Regional Manager of the bank in the next meeting.
