Yamunanagar: DAV College for Girls organised ‘Panache X — The Fashion Show’ on Saturday. Dolly Lamba, head of the Fashion Designing Department of the college said renowned actress Padmini Kolhapure was the chief guest on the occasion. “The fashion show of our college is a much awaited event organized by the fashion designing department with the support and motivation of Principal Dr Abha Kheterpal,” said Dolly Lamba.

CJM interacts with students

Karnal: Government College for Women, Bastara, has introduced an informal classroom interaction programme. The College Principal Dr Piush Kumar said in the informal class, notable personalities from various departments would interact with the students for 45 minutes and address their queries. In a similar class, Karnal CJM Jasbir Kaur addressed the students and made them aware of their legal rights.

Workshop on NEP organised

Kurukshetra: The Commerce Department of Kurukshetra University in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Centre organised a one-day workshop on the National Education Policy 2020. As keynote speaker of the session, Professor Tejinder Sharma, Chairperson of the department said the policy is a multi-disciplinary approach that would provide flexibility in the education system. The workshop was attended by scholars of various universities, including Panjab University, Delhi University and Himachal Pradesh University.

Central varsity releases magazine

Mahendragarh: Professor Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Haryana released the biannual magazine “Learning Curve @ CUH DLIS” published by the Library and Information Science Department of the university. The department’s HoD, Professor Dinesh Kumar Gupta, said through this effort, students, scholars and teachers would get updated information about the changes happening at the international level in the field of library and information, areas related to education and research.
