Agriculture Minister Shyam Singh Rana said farmers were satisfied with the arrangements made by the Haryana Government to procure paddy and millet.

He said keeping in mind the interests of the farmers, the state government was sending the money of crops purchased by the government directly to the bank account of the farmers. He further said more than Rs 6,833 crore had been paid to paddy and millet farmers in the state so far. Of the total amount, Rs 6,191 crore had been paid to paddy farmers and Rs 642 crore to millet farmers, he added.
