BJP leader and former MP Ashok Tanwar has accused former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda of indulging in nepotism and fulfilling his own interests and those of his son.

Addressing a news conference at Rohtak on Sunday, Tanwar said Hooda could not tolerate the progress of any other leader, especially Dalit leaders. “They try to finish off Dalit leaders by political and physical assaults, of which I am a live example. The Dalit community was insulted under the Congress regime. There was rampant corruption during their tenure,” maintained Tanwar, a former president of Haryana Congress.

The BJP leader stated that the Opposition parties had weakened agencies like the CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED) by not letting them work in a free and fair manner. “Every time they make a raid, the Opposition parties decry their action and level allegations,” he stated.
