Irked by the utterances of his party MLA Ram Kumar Gautam, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala today took on Deputy Speaker Ranbir Gangwa for allowing him to speak despite his name not being submitted by the party.

BJP behind Rathi’s murder

No gang is involved behind Nafe Singh Rathi’s murder. Only the BJP is involved. Nafe Singh had told the SP that he had threats from four persons, those are being named in the FIR…I was threatened too. My PA had made a complaint in Jind. I was provided security for two days and after that, it was withdrawn. Abhay Chautala, INLD MLA

Addressing the Deputy Speaker, Dushyant Chautala questioned, “Why a member is being allowed to speak when his party didn’t allow him? Are you having fun? Are you allowing some people just for entertainment?”

He didn’t stop there and demanded a ruling from the chair on the issue. “It has now happened several times. The Chair should safeguard the rules and procedures. Rules should be taken seriously,” he stressed.

Deputy Speaker skirted the issue by saying that next time it would be taken care of. But Gautam said, “He (Dushyant) could have expelled me. Now, I can’t even speak…I have been issued expulsion notices several times (by him),” he said.

Gautam had raised the issue of corruption in tehsils and poor condition of roads. Both the departments are under Dushyant. He had even tried to clarify that he had never asked for a Cabinet berth from Dushyant.

INLD MLA Abhay Chautala alleged that a new mafia had been thriving in the state as glass bottles were being made mandatory for country liquor instead of plastic bottles.
