Drug peddler arrested with 2.681 kg ganja in Gurugram
The Gurugram police have arrested an alleged drug peddler and seized 2.681 kg of ganja from his possession, a spokesman for the local police confirmed here today.
A police team led by Sub-Inspector Rajesh Kumar, in-charge of the crime branch of Sikanderpur, arrested the drug peddler near the Nissan Service Centre at Khandsa village.
The arrested drug peddler was identified as Subhakanta Tiwari, alias Pandit, a resident of Pati Sheetal village, Chhapra district (Bihar).
A case has been registered against him at the Sadar police station, Gurugram, under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Kumar said.
He added that the accused would be produced in a judicial court to seek police remand for further interrogation.
