Deserters won't be taken back, says BJP state chief
BJP state chief Mohan Lal Badoli today said the people who left the party under the influence of others would not be allowed to rejoin. He was here in Kurukshetra to hold a meeting with party workers regarding the BJP’s membership drive.
“The BJP is a party of dedicated workers and those who left the party during the election and switched their loyalties will not be allowed to rejoin. The BJP workers have been working hard to strengthen the party and we will soon achieve our target. The prime objective behind the membership drive is to strengthen the party for public welfare”, the BJP state chief said.
While interacting with mediapersons, Badoli said: “The BJP has formed a double-engine government in Haryana, and now we aim to make a triple-engine government by winning the civic body, zila parishad and panchayat elections. The party has launched a campaign to strengthen the party’s base in Haryana.”
About the issue of stubble burning, he said “The BJP government in Haryana over the past 10 years has made sincere efforts to make farmers aware and motivate them for crop residue management. The farmers of Haryana are well aware of the situation and they have been managing the residue. The Delhi Chief Minister has been just making statements instead of taking the adequate steps to reduce air pollution.”
In Panipat, the BJP state chief reviewed the membership campaign and requested the party workers to make efforts to help welfare schemes reach the beneficiaries. He said the third term had recharged the party workers, who have become active again.
Taking a dig at the Congress, Badoli said the Congress lied during the elections and paid the price for it. He also accused former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda of corruption and divisive politics. He alleged that the jobs were sold during the Hooda government, but today the jobs were being provided to the capable candidates without any ‘parchi or kharchi’.
