The Nuh police arrested a cyber-fraudster who carried Rs 2,000 bounty on his head. The police said a mobile phone, two fake SIM cards, 78 fake ATM cards, 12 fake bank passbooks and 14 fake chequebooks were seized from the possession of the accused.

The police said the suspect was identified as Farman alias Fammu, a resident of Malai village in Palwal district. They said an FIR was registered against the suspect at the Nuh cybercrime police station.

Nuh CIA in-charge, Inspector Subhash, said he and ASI Vinod Kumar were at the Raipuri bus stand on Tuesday during a patrol when he got information about the cyberthug Farman alias Fammu that he was near Ujina drain. He and his team conduct a raid and nab the suspect.

He said, “During the search, fake SIM cards, ATM cards, bank passbooks, and chequebooks were seized from the suspect. On examining the phone of the suspect, photographs of barcodes related to cyber fraud were found. An FIR of kidnapping and robbery was previously registered against the suspect at the Kotwali police station of Jhalawar district, Rajasthan. Rs 2,000 reward was declared for him by Rajasthan police. We have informed Rajasthan Police about the arrest.”
