Congress workers seek BJP’s reply on 10 questions under ‘Karnal Mange Hisaab’
Karnal, July 28
Congress workers in Karnal launched the ‘Karnal Mange Hisaab’ campaign on the lines of the state Congress’s campaign led by Rohtak MP Deepender Hooda, namely ‘Haryana Mange Hisaab’, seeking answers from the BJP on ten questions related to the district.
Carrying posters depicting these 10 questions, Congress leaders and workers questioned the government on various concerns. The members asked why had Karnal become a hub of crime, why the Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College (KCGMC) lack facilities despite significant spending, why the smart city project had not shown any results, why the NDRI gate was not opened for morning and evening walks, why the Municipal Corporation elections had not taken place and why the problems related to family IDs and property IDs still unresolved.
Former national zonal coordinator of All India Congress Committee, Parag Gaba, reached out to people through a door-to-door campaign on Sunday, criticising the BJP on the law and order situation, as well as development works.
“We are seeking replies from the government related to Karnal, as it has failed to develop the district, one of the constituencies represented by the CM for 10 years. The law and order situation is deteriorating and the government is not serious about it,” said Gaba, while distributing posters to shopkeepers in Patel Market.
Trilochan Singh, former chairman of the Haryana Minority Commission, who, along with other party leaders, launched the poster on Saturday, said, “The BJP has been in power for 10 years now. It is time that they take accountability. We will expose its failures and seek answers from the party.”
