Congress a united force in Gurugram, says Dabar
Amidst speculations of division within the Congress in Gurugram over ticket allocation, senior party leader and Punjabi representative Pankaj Dabar has announced his support for party candidate Mohit Grover.
Dabar, who was also in the running for the ticket, urged his supporters and Punjabi voters to back Mohit and the Congress to ensure the party’s victory.
“Not getting a ticket is disappointing, but the election is about the party, and now Grover is our candidate. I’ve rallied all my supporters, and we are united behind Mohit. The Congress is a united front in Gurugram,” Dabar said.
Accusing the BJP of attempting to spread rumours about differences within the Congress, Dabar claimed the BJP itself is dealing with internal infighting and factionalism. He highlighted how many BJP ticket aspirants were still running as independent candidates.
Targeting BJP candidates, Dabar criticised their failure to address the infrastructure crisis in the district, even with less than a month remaining before the elections.
“On behalf of the Congress, I want to ask them: what do they have to say about the infrastructure collapse in Gurugram? So far, the BJP hasn’t offered any explanation or solution to these issues. We challenge the BJP to explain why roads, sanitation, and drainage are in their current state, even though the Millennium City trusted them for a decade,” Dabar added.
