Congress manifesto bundle of lies: CM
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today termed the manifesto of Congress a bundle of lies and said its candidates are planning to bring back the era of corruption in jobs in the state. He was addressing the Jan Ashirwad Rally in support of BJP Shahabad candidate Subhash Kalsana. He called upon the party workers to ensure the victory of the party so that the BJP can form the government for the third time.
While addressing the gathering, Saini said: “The BJP over the past 10 years has given a new direction to the state and the double-engine government took Haryana to new heights of development. During the 56-day tenure, we took several decisions for the welfare of people. The opposition parties claimed I was just making the announcements, but I told Bhupinder Singh Hooda that you had been a Chief Minister for 10 years, but my 56 days of tenure will outweigh your 10-year tenure. They have been just misguiding people.”
“The BJP government has taken historic decisions in favour of farmers, women, students and people belonging to economically weaker sections. I had prepared a 100-day agenda, but I got the opportunity to work for 56 days because the model code of conduct came into force. A number of decisions were yet to be made for the welfare of the people of Haryana. But don’t worry, the BJP is going to form its government with a big mandate and then we will implement the pending agendas,” he added.
Saini said, “Haryana is the only state to announce procurement of 24 crops on the minimum support price. Based on the suggestions we received from the people of Haryana, the party has released its manifesto and decided to set up Industrial Model Townships in 10 cities to generate employment for the youngsters, expand the benefits under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, besides starting various schemes for the women and girls. The BJP government has provided jobs on merit and we will continue to do so.”
The CM said, “The Congress has released its bundle of lies and after it claimed to give two lakh jobs, its candidates have started claiming about their quotas in the government jobs. They are not concerned about the people of Haryana and have been working for their vested interests.”
