Haryana CM Nayab Saini inaugurates, lays stone of projects worth Rs 313 cr in Fatehabad
Hisar, July 25
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated newly constructed projects and laid the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 313 crore in Fatehabad today.
Addressing a “Pragati rally” in Fatehabad today, the CM said Rs 10 crore would be set aside for development projects in the district and that a wildlife treatment centre would come up at Badopal village.
A boosting station would be built in Ward Nos. 13-14, if land was available, he said, adding that the mini bypass would also be renovated. A committee constituted by the government was considering making Bhuna a subdivision and Bhattu a tehsil. As soon as the criteria were met, the work would be completed, the CM said.
One state, one vision
Our government has undertaken equal development in every region with the spirit of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’. We have risen above the district, city and constituency and looked at the state with one vision. —Nayab Singh Saini, CHIEF MINISTER
Saini claimed that regionalism dominated in terms of development during the tenure of previous governments, “but the present government has undertaken equal development in every region with the spirit of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek’. We have risen above the district, city and constituency and looked at the entire state with one vision. Rising above regionalism and nepotism, we have worked for the progress and prosperity of Haryana,” he claimed.
Taking a dig at the Opposition, the CM alleged that “previous governments used to work in commission mode, while our government works in mission mode.” Corruption was at its peak and only those who had recommendations and money used to get government jobs, he claimed. “Our government closed the shops of middlemen who used to do brokerage in getting government jobs or getting government work done for people,” he said.
“During Congress reign, the condition of Fatehabad was like a remote village. The roads were broken, drinking water system was in a shambles and there was power shortage. In the past 10 years, the government accelerated development. Projects worth crores have been completed,” he said.
The government’s aim, Saini said, was to open a medical college in every district. Taking a step in this direction, Sant Shiromani Shri Guru Ravidas Government Medical College was being set up at Rasulpur village of Fatehabad. Similarly, under the target of establishing a hospital in every district, a 200-bed hospital was being constructed in Sector 9 at a cost of Rs 45 crore and a 100-bed seven-storey hospital at Tohana for Rs 138 crore.
BJP state president Mohan Lal Badoli praised Saini for leading Haryana towards comprehensive development and urged people to help the BJP form the government in the state for the third time.
