Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini reaches out to people in Karnal, says 50K jobs on anvil
Karnal, July 22
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, on the second day of his visit to his constituency, reached out to different sections of society through various programmes here on Monday and expressed confidence that the BJP would form the government for the third consecutive time in Haryana.
He criticised the Congress for lying on the issue of employment and alleged that it had failed to provide jobs without recommendation and bribe, but the BJP had provided jobs without “parchi and kharchi”. He claimed in the coming days, nearly 50,000 more jobs would be created in the state.
“A ‘bharti roko gang’ is active in the state, which does not want youth to get jobs without recommendations and bribes. This gang obstructs the recruitment process. We fight in court to ensure justice for the youth,” he alleged while interacting with mediapersons during a prorgamme.
The day began with the CM addressing grievances at the PWD Rest House, where scores of residents met him and raised their issues. Following this, he attended a programme at the Brahma Kumari Ashram, where he met residents and expressed gratitude for the victory in the Assembly byelection and Karnal Lok Sabha election. “We won both elections. Our government has done tremendous work in the state and at the Centre. If anyone raises a specific issue, we will address it with the officer concerned,” he asserted, highlighting the achievements of the BJP government in the past nearly 10 years in the district.
Questioned about contesting the next Assembly poll from Karnal, Saini clarified, “The parliamentary board of the party will decide it. The board brought me from Kurukshetra to Karnal, and it will take a call on it further.” Referring to the Union Budget as the Budget of “Amrit Kaal”, he expressed hope that it would meet the country’s expectations and aspirations. He claimed that every section of society would benefit from the Budget. “It will lay the foundation for a developed India,” he added.
Asked about the SC order for interim stay on the UP Government’s directive to eateries on the Kanwar yatra route to display the names of their owners, the CM said, “We respect the court’s order. It should be written whether the food is vegetarian or non-vegetarian because people do not know. If there is a sign, vegetarians will go to vegetarian places and non-vegetarians to other places.”
