CM flying squad carries out surprise inspection at Madlauda patwarkhana
The Chief Minister flying squad carried out a surprise inspection in the patwarkhana at the Tehsil office of Madlauda in the district yesterday.
The team found a total of 246 inteqals of several villages pending with the patwaris and also found private people working in the patwarkhana.
The CM flying squad team, led by Inspector Jasmer, SI Raj Singh, ASI Subhash Chander, carried out the inspection in the presence of Tehsildar Amit Kumar and Kanungo Jasbeer.
The team found patwari Krishan, Surender and Kashmiri Lal in the office, while patwari Sudhanshu was out for some work. The team found a private person in the office of Krishan, while it came to fore that another private person was also working with Surender.
During the inspection the team found a total of 246 inteqals pending with the patwaris since April 1 this year. As per the details, a total of nine inteqals of Nohra village and one inteqal of Khukhrana village was found pending with patwari Kashmiri Lal; a total of 41 inteqals, including 13 of Rerkalan village, 11 of Urlana Kalan, three of Dumiana village and 14 of Dariyapur village, were found pending with Surender patwari.
Similarly, a total of 86 inteqals, including 16 of Atawla village, five of Bohli village, 58 of Sithana village and seven of Alupur village, were found pending with Krishan patwari.
The team also found Sompal patwari and found two private persons working with him. The team found a total of 78 intqals, including 26 of Adiana village and 30 of Kavi village pending with Sompal patwari, while a total 31 inteqals, including eight of Bhadar village, seven of Kalkha, nine of Bhandari village and seven of Nain village, were found pending with Bijender patwari.
The CM flying squad team found that there was no citizen charter in the patwarkhana, no facility for clean potable water. There was poor cleanliness and no old records were maintained by patwaris and no proper timing of sitting of the patwaris in their offices and no movement register to be found.
No record of applications received was being maintained by the patwaris due to which there is a possibility of corruption flourishing. There was no CCTV camera installed there and no biometric attendance was being maintained there.
