The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) aims to establish a robust digital health infrastructure in the country, connecting various stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem through digital channels. A key component of ABDM is the ABHA ID, a unique 14-digit number that links an individual's health records.

This initiative promotes the digitisation of healthcare and offers several benefits, including a unique identity, centralised health records, seamless access to healthcare facilities, a professional registry, easy monitoring of health records, secure digital health records, and straightforward registration of personal health records (PHR).

Haryana Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi today urged all state government employees living in Chandigarh to create their ABHA ID by downloading the ABHA app from the Play Store or Apple Store, or by visiting the ABDM website.
