Chief Secy inaugurates Ambedkar Conference Hall
Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad today inaugurated the Dr BR Ambedkar Conference Hall at the Civil Secretariat, fulfilling a long-standing request from employees. The new facility serves as a tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution. Prasad emphasised Dr Ambedkar's legacy of equality, governance and self-reliance.
In his address, Prasad paid homage to Ambedkar, stating, "We owe our equality, governance, and self-reliance to Dr Ambedkar's vision." He emphasised the crucial role of civil servants as the "face of the government" and urged them to serve all citizens with dedication.
He encouraged employees to be guided by the principles of Dr Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi, highlighting the importance of integrity, service, and commitment.
Prasad said inaugurating the Dr BR Ambedkar Conference Hall marked a significant step in improving the workplace environment for Haryana's Civil Secretariat employees and promoting a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and dedicated public service.
CISF Deputy Commandant Nitin Kumar expressed gratitude to the Chief Secretary for enhancing essential facilities for CISF personnel, including establishing a women’s hostel and mess. He also welcomed the Chief Secretary's announcement to upgrade the running track and set up a crèche facility for women in the CISF.
