Ambala: Annual talent show competition was organised in Sanatan Dharma College, Ambala Cantt, under the aegis of Department of Youth and Cultural Affairs, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. Principal Dr Rajinder Singh said participation in such activities helped in the all-round development of their personality. In speech competition, Charu, Mehak and Shrishti Rana secured first, second and third position, respectively. Akash, Vinay Tiwari and Tanushree bagged first, second and third position in poetry recitation competition while Kaushal, Amit and Anjali came first, second and third in painting competition.

Awareness campaign at RKSd College

Kaithal: The voter registration committee of RKSd College, Kaithal, launched an awareness campaign among students to make them understand the importance of the casting of vote. In this process, a seminar was organised under the leadership of Prof Virendra Singh and Prof Anukriti Dhul, conveners of the committee. Principal Sanjay Goyal motivated the students to vote and called on them to motivate others as well. Prof Ashok Atri expressed his views that voting was the basis of modern democracy. On the occasion, Head of the political science department Prof Shri Om, Prof Surendra Arya and Prof Vinod Maan were also present.

Poster presentation competition

Yamunanagar: Department of Physics at Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamunanagar, organised an inter-department poster presentation competition. The event aimed at fostering interest in space science and celebrated achievements in the field, notably Mission Chandrayaan-3. Principal Dr Harinder Singh Kang emphasised the importance of space exploration and encouraged students to engage with scientific advancements. Nidhi, Navpreet Kaur and Pragya secured first, second and third position while Ashish was awarded the consolation prize. The competition was convened by Dean Prof Santosh Kurra and HoD (physics) Dr MP Aggarwal.
