Campus notes: Students bring laurels to college

Kaithal: Two students of Indira Gandhi (PG) Mahila Mahavidyalaya here brought laurels to the college by securing first and second positions, respectively, in state-level online poster making competition. Dr Aarti Garg, college principal, said this competition was organised by the Mathematics Department, Economics Department and Commerce Department of Mata Sundari Khalsa Girls College, Nissing (Karnal). Recently, the results of the competition were declared in which college student Deepti got e-certificate and a cash prize of ?400 by securing first position and another student Komal also got e-certificate and a cash prize of ? 300 by securing second position. Governing body president Ram Bahadur Khurania honoured students by giving them awards at an event. Sakshi, Anu and Aruna from the college staff were present on the occasion.

PhD entrance exam on December 22

Hisar: All arrangements have been made for conducting the entrance examination for admission to PhD courses in various faculties at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, on December 22. The examination will be held on the main campus of the university. Admit cards for appearing in the examination have been issued by the university to students. Vice Chancellor Prof BR Kamboj said entrance examination would be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm. He said students had to reach the exam centre one hour before the start of the examination (by 9 am). He said students should visit the university website - hau.ac.in - for seeking information related to the entrance examination.
