Panipat: The women's volleyball team of Arya College brought glory to the institute by winning the gold medal in the Volleyball Inter-zonal Women's Championship held at Kurukshetra University. Principal Jagdish Gupta and professors welcomed the winning team and wished them luck for their bright future. The tournament was organised by KU from October 14 to 16 at the university’s Sports Complex. Gupta said Arya College had defeated DAV Girls College, Karnal, by 3-0 in the final round. College management committee head Surendra Shingla congratulated the team and said it was a happy moment for the entire Arya College family.

Dayal school students visit ISRO

Karnal: A group of 24 students and three teachers from Dayal Singh Public School's main branch in Karnal recently embarked on an extraordinary educational excursion to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The three-day trip, aimed at fostering interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), provided students with a unique opportunity to explore India's premier space research facility. At ISRO, the students gained valuable insights into India's space programmes. They interacted with renowned scientists, engineers, and experts, sparking curiosity and inspiring future careers in space research. Principal Sushma Devgun emphasised the importance of such educational excursions, stating, “We aim at providing our students with experiential learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom. This trip has been a resounding success, and we look forward to organising more such endeavours.”
