Boy abducted from Rajasthan recovered by Gurugram police
The Gurugram police have safely recovered a 14-year-old boy who was abducted from Gangapur City in Rajasthan and handed him over to the Rajasthan police, a spokesman for the local police said on Friday.
The abducted boy, identified as Aman Khan, son of Nizamuddin Khan, a resident of Kaneti village in the Sawai Madhopur area near Gangapur City, was kidnapped on Monday. Aman, who was studying in a madrasa, was returning home after 5 pm when he was abducted by individuals in a car. According to the police, the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 27 lakh from the boy’s family for his release.
On the night of October 10-11, the local police received information that a boy was being forcibly taken in a car. The police set up checkpoints and initiated efforts to trace the vehicle. Around 4 am, the police successfully rescued the boy from Nunhera village.
Upon investigation, it was found that a case was registered regarding the boy’s abduction on Thursday. The boy’s father reported the incident to the local police only after the kidnappers demanded ransom, as he initially believed his son might have gone to visit relatives and was unaware of the kidnapping.
The Gurugram police informed the police station concerned in Rajasthan about the boy’s safe recovery. After completing all legal formalities and conducting a medical check-up, the child was safely handed over to the Rajasthan police.
