After losing the Mullana Assembly seat to Congress candidate Puja Chaudhry, BJP leader Santosh Sarwan has blamed internal party members for her defeat. Sarwan, who addressed her party workers post-election, claimed that “black sheep” within the BJP had undermined her campaign.

“Party is like a mother, but some people stabbed the mother in the chest and back. Certain so-called big leaders were sold during the election. Everyone knows what happened,” she said. Despite the loss, Sarwan emphasised her commitment to the BJP, noting that over 66,000 people voted for her and that she would continue working for the people of Mullana.

Sarwan also alleged that some party members were in contact with Congress leaders, sabotaging her candidacy due to their opposition to Nayab Singh Saini becoming the Chief Minister. “We will not spare them and will teach them a good lesson,” she said, vowing to continue fighting for Mullana’s development under BJP leadership.
