BJP’s Biplab Deb claims Congress will face defeat if Hooda is projected as CM candidate

Biplab Deb, former Tripura Chief Minister and BJP’s election co-incharge, claimed that Congress’ decision not to project Bhupinder Singh Hooda as its chief ministerial candidate is a ploy to make a “back-door entry” into the state government.

Addressing a meeting of party workers and supporters, dubbed Tridev Sammelan, in Palwal, Deb launched a scathing attack on the Congress leadership. He stated that the Congress fears defeat if Hooda is named CM candidate, as the party’s 10-year rule under his leadership would be exposed.

Deb alleged that the Congress leaders and their allies speak “the language of China and Pakistan” and have a history of deceiving people. He accused the Congress of looting the state between 2004 and 2014 and seeking power to resume exploitation.

Deb questioned why Rahul Gandhi didn’t announce Hooda as CM candidate if he’s a popular leader. “It’s to avoid defeat associated with Hooda’s name and regime,” Deb said.

Citing BJP’s “all-around development” without discrimination or exploitation, Deb claimed the Manohar Lal Khattar-led government will return to power. He accused the Congress of wanting to end reservations and reintroduce Article 370 in Kashmir.

Deb urged party workers to intensify door-to-door campaigns to expose the Congress’ record and highlight BJP’s achievements over the past decade.
