BJP’s 10-year rule marked by corruption: Surjewala
Kaithal, August 28
Senior Congress leader Randeep Surjewala accused the BJP of causing unemployment, inflation and corruption in the state and said that they would corner the government in the upcoming elections on these issues.
“The BJP government has snatched the livelihood of people. Youth are struggling for jobs. Thousands of youth in Haryana are desperate for even temporary employment,” said Surjewla, while interacting with mediapersons during the joining of Ward 3 councillor Sonia Rani, who had supported BJP chairperson of Kaithal MC, along with her supporters in the Congress. Surjewala welcomed her into the party fold.
Surjewala said that the upcoming elections were not just about a change in power but a transformation of the system.
He criticised the BJP’s 10-year rule and alleged rampant corruption, with a commission scandal under the saffron party’s rule. He accused the government of stalling various projects, including City Bank Square and others, which have been hanging fire for years. “It shows the BJP’s failure to deliver on their promise for development,” said Surjewla.
