BJP ruined Rohtak, no special grant was given, says Batra
Congress sitting MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra, who is re-seeking election, claimed that the BJP had not given any special grant to Rohtak. Consequently, it had been lagging behind in terms of basic facilities.
Batra was addressing the meetings of booth-level workers at his office on Sunday. “The BJP government is fully responsible for ruining Rohtak in terms of development. The saffron party has taken revenge from Rohtak, but now, the people will give a befitting reply to the BJP by defeating it for being biased towards Rohtak,” said the MLA.
Batra said the BJP had not provided employment to the educated youths. Over 2 lakh posts were lying vacant in government departments. It never even thought about filling the backlog. “The BJP spent its tenure in making announcements and promises. It kept changing the names of government schemes and resorted to lathi-charge on those who tried to raise their voice against it,” he added.
Batra said now, the times had changed, the people of the state were clamouring for change and were joining the Congress so that it could bring about development in Haryana. He reiterated that as soon as the Congress government under the leadership of Bhupinder Singh Hooda is formed in the state, Rohak would be rebuilt.
