BJP misleading public over Agnipath: Bhupesh Baghel
Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel said the BJP government was misleading the people over the Agnipath scheme questioning that why it did not provide regular job to youth in the Army if it claimed to give permanent job with pension benefits to every agniveer in Haryana.
Accompanied by Rewari outgoing MLA and Congress candidate Chiranjeev Rao, Baghel said: “The BJP government should withdraw the Agnipath and make recruitment on a regular basis in the Army as was done earlier if it really wants to provide regular employment to the youth,” said Baghel while reacting to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement that the BJP government would provide permanent job with pension facility to every Agniveer of Haryana.
In reply to another question, Baghel said Haryana is known for jawan, kisan and pahalwan. The BJP had targeted all these during its misrule of 10 years in Haryana. Baghel also targeted the BJP government over deteriorating law and order in the state, rising inflation and unemployment.
