Local workers of the BJP and the Congress clashed in Rohtak on Saturday. The clash broke out after a section of Congress workers objected to the distribution of pamphlets by the BJP on Railway Road here.

The pamphlets contained some questions to Congress MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra. Congress and BJP clashed over the matter. Batra’s son Siddharth was also said to be present at the spot of the clash. Police personnel rushed to the spot and dispersed the workers to bring the situation under control.

Following that, the political workers went to a local police station to lodge their respective complaints regarding the matter.
