Reacting to the recent raids by the Enforcement Directorate in the state, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday said those who indulge in wrongdoings would have to face the consequences. On the arrest of Congress MLA Surender Panwar by the ED, he said, “ED is an independent agency which works independently and decides its own course of action.”
The Chief Minister criticised MP Deepender Hooda and accused him of failing to account for the actions during his father’s tenure and urged him to explain the work done during the Congress’ rule.
CM Saini labelled the Congress’ ‘Haryana Mange Hisaab’ campaign as a journey of lies, with its leader Rahul Gandhi leading the misinformation.
Congress campaign based on lies
Deepender Hooda should first account for the actions during his father’s (Bhupinder Hooda) tenure and explain the work done during the rule of the Congress. The ‘Haryana Mange Hisaab’ campaign is a journey of lies.

He highlighted the issues from the Congress’ 10-year tenure, including corruption in recruitments, limited
electricity supply during summers and inadequate pension schemes for the elderly. He contrasted this with the BJP’s focus on equitable development across the state.
Meanwhile, CM Saini launched ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in Sirsa. The campaign, involving Radha Soami Satsang (Bias) volunteers, saw the planting of 20,000 saplings to combat environmental pollution. Saini announced that the government would appoint 50,000 ‘Van Mitras’ (forest friends) to plant and protect trees, offering them Rs 20 per tree for their efforts.
In Karnal, CM Saini participated in various social programmes and also held tea programmes at the residences of party workers.
On the Aam Aadmi Party’s five guarantees, he said, “They have given guarantees in Punjab and Delhi as well, and everyone knows what the worth of their guarantees are. None trusts their guarantees as they spread false promises. The situation in Punjab is terrible due to their guarantees. They talk about development, but they are involved in corruption. Their end is in jail,” he said.
He referred to Congress and AAP as like siblings and said sometimes they criticize each other and sometimes they hug each other. “The Congress has a history of corruption with many major scams, and they have faced consequences. The AAP has also been involved in several scams, and their leaders are in jail,” he said.
Regarding farmers going to Delhi, he said, “The Central leadership is looking into this. We appeal to the farmers that blocking roads is not a solution. It comes with dialogues.”
