Alleging that both the Congress and BJP looted the people in different ways including grabbing the land of the poor to benefit the land mafia and the builder lobby, former deputy CM and JJP leader, Dushyant Chautala, appealed people to ensure the victory of the JJP-ASP alliance in the state this time.

Chautala who was here to address a public meeting in support of the alliance candidate, Tika Ram Bhardwaj at Kheri Kalan village in the district, said that people should realise their power and strengthen themselves instead of passing it to the parties and leaders who had been looting them after coming to power. Accusing the national parties of betraying the people, he said the power should not go into the hands of such parties or leaders now. “Apni takat ko pehchano aur ek- ek vote JJP- ASP ko dena abki baar( realize your power and ensure victory of JJP- ASP),” he said. Bhardwaj is contesting from the Tigaon segment here.

Promising to revise the old age pension to Rs 5,100 on the first day of taking oath, Dushyant said that his party would provide 50 per cent reservation to women in the teaching posts in the Education Department.
